ANM(Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery) it is a diploma course which focus on the study of health care of various individuals. ANM course trains the students & make them capable to work as basic health workers. Nursing is the medical specialty of caring for the sick, and maternity care is a profession that focusses on providing help to the mother during work and pregnancy. Nursing is an important part of the healthcare sector. Nurses have the responsibility to ensure the smooth functioning of health organizations such as Hospitals, Dispensaries, NGOs, etc. Subjects covered within this course’s curriculum include Anatomy & Physiology, Biological Science, Microbiology, Behavioral Science, Sociology, Psychology, Fundamentals of Nursing, and First Aid.
ANM professionals are hired in capacities such as Clinical Nurse Specialist, Legal Nurse Consultant, Forensic Nurse, Madam In-charge & Helper, Teacher & Junior Lecturer, Travelling Nurse, Receptionist & Entry Operator, Brand Representative, Sale-purchase Assistant, and Emergency Room Nurse, Midwife Nurse, etc. Successful graduates of the course can expect anything between INR 3 to 10 Lacs as an annual salary in the industry, increasing with experience and skill set.
Courses Eligibility
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year.The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
Student shall be admitted once in a year.
